Anna Rogozińska

Co-founder

of the Polish Creative Center in Milan

Holds a PhD in economics and is a specialist
in culture and the creative industries. She is
also an assistant professor at the Magdalena
Abakanowicz University of the Arts in Poznań.
She gained professional experience in London
and Amsterdam, as well as in the art market —
working for several years with one of Poland’s
leading auction houses and running her own
art advisory practice. For the past few years,
she has been dividing her personal and
professional life between Poznań and Milan —
two cities that serve as important intellectual
and cultural reference points for her. This dual
perspective allows her to combine different
viewpoints and stay in tune with current
trends in art and design. Anna
specializes in the art and design markets,
both globally and locally, which she explores
through an interdisciplinary lens combining
economic, social, and cultural analysis.

She is the author and co-author of numerous
publications on the art market, cultural
marketing, and arts management. She
teaches at both undergraduate and
postgraduate levels, focusing on topics such
as art and design history, the art market, and
cultural marketing. In recent years, she has
also expanded her work in the field of design —
both as a lecturer and as a researcher
interested in how aesthetics, functionality,
and market dynamics intersect.

Her research focuses on the global and local
art and design markets, the corporatization
and commercialization of culture, and the
influence of economic forces on the art world,
with particular attention to cultural marketing
and the management of creative institutions.
Alongside her academic work, Anna remains
active in the field by advising individual and
institutional clients on art and design
acquisitions, collecting strategies, and
building collections. She is also a member
of Leonesse – the Polish Women Network
in Milan – and the Velvet Spoon Association.

a lifestyle and a sign of professional maturity.

For years, she has represented Polish design
at Milan Design Week, exhibiting her work in
the most exclusive districts of Milan and at
various industry events worldwide. Her latest
project, “Crafting Connections,” is a tribute to
the Podlaskie region from which the designer
originates, based on rich, traditional textile
practices and culture of the region, which is
fading with the turbulent arrival of modernity.
In 2025, she was honored with the Award of
the Minister of Culture and National Heritage
for artistic achievements and the promotion
of Polish culture on the international stage.

She divides her private and professional life
between dynamic Milan, where she draws
inspiration and positive energy, and Łomża, her
family home, a place of peace and tranquility.
In 2024, Małgorzata founded in Warsaw the
association TAKA tradition culture integration.
Since 2022, she is actively involved in the
Leonesse – Polish Women Network in Milan
